You don't meet many Ednas or Elberts these days
New York City

We are having a very pleasant trip & lots of good times. Edna came down for over Sunday with us & we are going to Elbert's for next Sunday, we think. It is snowing hard. Love to all, [?]

Postcards are the blogs of the 20th century.
Hey, that's cool! I sat on the steps of that post office when I was last in NYC.
I'm glad "Elbert" is out of fashion these days...
My son has a Herman, a Marvin, and a Elmer in his class! (my mom's great grandma wanted Grandma (her daughter-in-law) to name a child "Cedric." Apparently Grandma said, in private, "She had 6 boys; if she'd wanted to use the name Cedric, she should have named one of them!")
Do you collect old postcards too?
There are a lot of E names that seem to be long gone. Egbert, Eloise, Ernest, Evelyn . . .
