A personal Christmas wish for you, from Phil Spector


This will have to reign as creepiest Christmas track until that long-suppressed "A Very Charlie Manson Christmas" album finally sees the light of day.

Phil Spector truly is one of the creepiest human beings I've ever seen. The word "freak" in the encyclopedia has a picture of him for an illustration.

I just watched him being interviewed for the Scorcese doc "Living in the Material World" (about George Harrison) and he seemed almost normal -- but still freakish. It's incredible to think that he was responsible for so much famous music yet was a gun-wielding lunatic the rest of the time. Thanks for that freakish example.

This album is a lot of fun, but you get to this track--it's the last on the album--and, ugh.
