This is a "heck of a post", Jim!
In 1984, though, they wouldn't even bother to put on a dog and pony show. They would announce FEMA is doing a bang-up job and no one would dare question it.
The hilarious thing about this episode: how poorly they executed it. Proof positive that our current administration's guiding light is the Peter Principle.
I saw this on the news and thought it was hilarious. How much more can they do to us to prove they're idiots?
