Helloween

Photobucket - Video and Image HostingMommy, why is the kitty #&$@ing a pumpkin?

Photobucket - Video and Image HostingMommy, the patients from the burn unit at the hospital are here.

Photobucket - Video and Image HostingMommy, there's something about the shape of the tombstone that's making me extremely uncomfortable.

*SNORT* I utterly loathe these inflatable lawn "ornaments".

Hilarious! That tombstone is not suitable for those under the age of 18!

I have visions of filling the entire front field of our farm with these inflatable things, to freak out the neighbours, but then I come to my senses...

Gina--I, too, HATE these things. And the kitty-screwing-the-pumpkin one is EVERYWHERE. I went online to find an image and discovered it and the others in a holiday catalog. The tombstone one made my jaw drop. Gotta be intentional, or the maker has issues.

I actually saved this as a draft three Halloweens ago. I had two others I wanted to come up with captions for and couldn't so I didn't post at the time.

My standards have lowered. Hurrah!

God . . . Brigitte just brought three masks, some skeleton lights and I sent them to my son in Japan . . . Not $20, not $40, but $57 for the postage of a total of about $8 worth of items.

Incredible. Some guy just puts it on a truck, some other guy just shoves it on a plane along with a million other packages, it lands, some other guy picks it up, drives it on his regular route in his neighbourhood, and that costs $60.

For three Halloween masks and some Halloween lights.

Oh, ship, you say? $27 but 13 weeks, crushed into shards.

God I regret marrying a Japanese woman.
