Highlight of Deborah Solomon's interview with Karl Rove

From tomorrow's New York Times:
Solomon: Do you think you're negative?

Rove: No.

There's just no good way to answer that question, is there? Say "yes," and you're negative. Say "no," and you're still negative.

He didn't talk about "The Math"?

He gets testy--especially in the longer, online version linked to above. Worth a read, if only to scoff.

That said, I'm not a big fan of Solomon. She often comes off as obnoxious in her questioning, IMO. And the Times has taken to appending this puzzling note at the bottom of her weekly piece:

INTERVIEW CONDUCTED, CONDENSED AND EDITED BY DEBORAH SOLOMON

I find that oddly worded, but the point is, she highly edits her Q&As. The note was added after several people (among them, This American Life's Ira Glass) complained that she distorted meaning in her presentation. I'm not sure how admitting she does a lot of editing really helps that.
