Oh, what the heck--it's my blog, and I can bore you if I want to

A) Congrats on the digital camera, they're fantastic!

B) Your pictures are beautiful! I'd suggest a tripod if you're interested. It can be difficult to take photos in low-light conditions otherwise.

Yeah, my hands used to be incredibly steady--I could take pictures under the lowest light levels. But I can't anymore. All those years of hard living...

I have a mini tripod and a fullsize one, but I neglected to take them with me.

Very nice pics. That last one looks like someone hung a peacock on the building. There's nothing like a nice peacock pinata.
