Are you suggesting that Mad Max is not historical? Oh. My. God. No way!
Shuh! What's with that? EVERYONE knows that MAD MAX is about the FUTURE! GAH!
Maybe you tuned in to The History of Crappy Movies channel by mistake.
Because Mad Max took place a long time ago, on a continent far, far away.
The next thing you'll tell me is that that crummy comic strip B.C. is actually set in the future, right?
B.C. has to be set in the future. If it was set before Christ, it couldn't have all that stuff about Christ in it. So it must be set in some postapocalyptic future during which humanity had lost its knowledge of everything except Jesus, how to make eyeglasses, and how to fit people with peg legs.
