That's like a little postmodern poem, isn't it?
Water not that blue, 1935 - well we can say for sure that it wasn't because of a Photoshop trick!
God: A lot of postcard messages read like poetry. That's a big part of their appeal to me.
Steve: They were a little bit lower tech. All the color was applied by hand. (I've seen examples of cards that were obviously based on the same photo but with new details drawn in.)
Mimi was kind of a downer, wasn't she? I mean, unless Bobby was going to visit why not just let him think the water was that blue? :)
