My new favorite song

Camera Obscura's "Lloyd, I'm Ready to Be Heartbroken." (It might help if you know the song it's in answer to, Lloyd Cole's "Are You Ready to Be Heartbroken?" but it's not necessary.)

Jim, I am now dubbing you "New Music Guru." I've loved all your selections. Any relation to Aztec Camera? ha ha.

Oh, and I love the IKEA fabric they have flowing through the video. Perhaps its underlying theme is the heartbreak of finally deciding on a purchase, just to go and find out it's no longer available... Just a thought. :oi

Thanks, Debbie.

PS: I love Aztec Camera's "Love" album. I've been meaning to get that on CD.

If you like this (and Aztec Camera, for that matter) you should also check out Belle & Sebastian. I take it that B&S has been acting as mentors for Camera Obscura.

Oh, and I love the fact CO's lead singer is a dead ringer for Debbie Downer.

How often do you change your favorite song?

Every 3,000 miles or three months, whichever comes first.

Can I tell you how hard my husband, sister and brother-in-law laughed when they saw Debbie Downer for the first time? I caught alot of hell for that one.

MWAH MWAH.
